The sponsors logo as far I know should be identical/accurate (colors, etc.) or at least in neutral color (black). Uhmmm, my imagination about volunteers version is it should be a bit informal, fresh (they're gonna movin around the events rite?) and easily recognized (contrast/vibrant/colorful).
