[anjuta-list] BuildingC++Libraries

I have just started using using anjuta 3.4.3

I need to build a static C++ library and also a shared C++ library. The
only relevant template provided for C++ is a "generic C++" template.
Having created the project, how do I set the properties so that it
builds a static library rather than a console application.

The documentation mentions the creation of project templates, and refers
me to:

https://developer.gnome.org/libanjuta/stable/project-wizard-format.html

which says:

QUOTE
The template files look like xml documents and have normally the
extension .wiz. All templates and others related files are installed by
default in $anjuta_install_dir/share/anjuta/templates. But the project
wizard looks for templates in the sub directory anjuta/templates of all
user data directories as defined by XDG Base Directory Specification
too. It is possible to override a Anjuta project template by an user one
put, by example, in ~/.local/share/anjuta/templates.
UNQUOTE

However my Debian 7.8 system has no directory ../share/anjuta/templates.

Is there a repository of project templates, or detailed documentation on
how to create a template?

Many thanks for any help,

Geoff
