[anjuta-list] open an existing ui file

My Anjuta is version 3.8.4 installed under Ubunto 13.10
I have received a Anjuta ui file from a friend.
How do I open this file???
Have tried every which way to open this file
My last attempt was as follows
File > New > user Interface file
Then try to import my example.ui file
I cannot find a way to do this!!!
