[anjuta-list] dependency on gtk3 in fedora

Evening,

I have been sorting out gtkpod rpms for fedora. Building for fc14 works
well and I have a working spec file as a consequence. However, trying to
build the spec file against fc15 testing on koji causes failures.

It appears that the anjuta package is 2.91+ in fc15, which relies on
gtk+3.0 etc... However, gtkpod2 has only so far been developed against
gtk2 and anjuta 2.32. Is it possible that maybe anjuta 2.32 could be
included in Fedora as a backport or compat package to allow gtkpod2 to
be included as is?

Obviously, gtkpod2 will be updated to use gtk3, anjuta3 etc... but that
is going to take a change in dev environment and testing so not really
an overnight thing.

I have no idea whether this is allowed or feasible. Any help much
appreciated.

Cheers

PGR
