OK.. tried that and it still installs what I don't want installed.

Here is what I have in the Makefile.am:

noinst_PROGRAMS = \
        test-dice \
        test-spvect

test_dice_SOURCES = src/test-dice.cxx

test_dice_LDADD = \
        -lfrputil

test_spvect_SOURCES = src/test-spvect-main.cxx

test_spvect_LDADD= \
        -lfrpuniverse
