Hi!

First, sorry that nobody of the developers really cares about this list...

Anyway, I have found many questions on anjuta-1.2.4 here and it's of
course OK to ask for help here. Anjuta 1.2.4 is the latest stable
version of anjuta but it is unmainted because any developer
concentrates on anjuta 2.0!

Anjuta 2.0 has lots of great featues and is stable enough for
day-to-day work in most cases. There are some problems with 2.01
because it has an annoying bug which crashes mostly any build but
current CVS is much better. So, if you want to use a blending-edge IDE
than get anjuta from CVS and install it. You can savely get any other
packages from your distribution if it is providing them (gdl,
gnome-build). And please report any bugs you find in bugzilla!

The next beta will be released in January 2006, I hope, it's depends
on when Naba is coming back. This will be hopefully stable enough to
be included in distributions.
