[Anjuta-list] New GUI project Configure completes unsuccessfully

In every instance that I create a new gnome or gtk project, the 
generated configure script does not complete.  I get the following error 
after it builds the libtool and runs the libtool tests:

./configure.lineno: 20922: Syntax Error: Word Unexpected (expecting ")")

I looked everywhere for a possible solution but did not find any.
