[Anjuta-list] ./configure libgnomeprint-2.2.pc not found

I am trying to install anjuta on my fedora core 2 system. i download the source rpm and installed it. now the source code lies in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/anjuta-1.2.2/
when i run ./configure this is the part i get errors

my rpm -qa shows me that i have installed 
libgnomeprint-1.116.0-10 this should contain the package libgnomeprint-2.2 but i cant find the file libgnomeprint-2.2.pc in my system.
I am really dying for a good c++ ide for linux. Kdeveloper is not solving my problems.
Hope some one can help.
