[Anjuta-list] UTF8 <-> ISO-8859-1 conversion problem

Hello,

I have a problem with the gnome2 release of Anjuta (until now i was
still using the gnome1 one).

It looks like it converts all opened file to UTF8 and, at the time of
saving, converts them back to one of the supported encoding, as
configured in the options window.

As all my files are using ISO-8859-1, i configured Anjuta to support
only this encoding, to be sure that it keeps the strings untouched.
But, without knowing why, when i open a file with accents (é,à,etc) in
it, Anjuta can't display them. And if i save this file without changin
anything, it leaves all chars in UTF8, and i'm obliged to use iconv to
convert my source file back.

Is this a known issue ? it's quite unpleasant to be obliged to iconv all
sources before each make...

Gone back to Anjuta 1.0 for the moment, as it does not try the
ISO-8859-1 -> UTF-8 -> ISO8859-1 conversion.

Thanks for your help.
