hello,
those questions filled the list for months now ;)
its very hard to confguration manage anjuta for each and every distro
and version of environment(?).
i had those problems too and solved it by the usual way:
dual boot between my "party" and my dev environment, that should be a
VERY gnome-dev friendly based distro like gentoo or debian sarge-sid.
youll need that anyway as reference and testing platform ;)
youll get into sysiphus work with the dep and rpm hells you get with too
kde oriented distros (prove me wrong).
good luck,
y
