Thanks for the reply - yes I have noticed that but was hoping that we were able to use the Glade utility like we do when starting a new Gnome 1 project.

Well, I'm still trying to use Glade, though , as far as I can see a lot of
GTK+ and GNOME2 applications prefer a fully programmatical
creation and control of widgets.
