[Anjuta-list] makefiles

when I build a project, in this case a console project, my make file is
empty. what do I have to do to get the wizard to create the makefile?
I seem to not have a config.in file of some sort.

I have this book "learn C++ for linux" and I an running gnome. any help
is appreciated.
PS this is on a Gentoo distribution running a 2.6 kernel.
