I am new to using any form of IDE.
When I try to make a new project following the tutorial on the Anjuta
web site I get
Error: The "glade--" utility is not installed. Install it then restart
Anjuta.
However if in a terminal window I type 'glade', then the glade utility
appears.
Do I just ignore this error? If not how should glade be installed?
glade-- is different from glade itself. I think it's called glademm now.
It's used to generate C++ code from glade files instead of straight C
code.
However, Anjuta works fine for me without it, but I'm generating
straight C.
What distro are you using?
I'm using Red Hat 8.0
Also the settings -> Compiler Linker settings
c++ Bindings for GTK and C++ program using wxWindows ... appear not to
be installed
