Re: gnome-keyring Right place to ask questions about a bug

Could you prepare an actual git patch with a commit message and test it, and attach it to that bug?

I'm not sure who the python-gnomekeyring maintainer is, but if nobody steps up I could probably go ahead and commit your patch (and see if anyone complains) :)

Cheers,

Stef

Hello,

There exists a difference in behavior between the C library and Python
bindings.

The python bindings were incorrectly generated, for a single method:

gnomekeyring.unlock_sync(keyring, None)

None is not permitted.

In the C library, null is permitted and activates the (safe) password dialogue.

I created a bug ages ago (I patch it locally, it's only one line) but
want if fixed for the world.

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=633958

I don't know how to track down the developer who can make this happen.

There's also a bug on launchpad:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-python-desktop/+bug/432882

Thanks,
