You can get the live cd from ubuntu.com, under the get ubuntu link.
However, if you really want a seemless experience, I would actually
advise you to wait until the 10.04 release is officially out in a few
weeks. A lot of effort has gone into making a seemless experience in the
new release, and that includes accessibility.
