Hi,
The capability to rename tabs exists in gnome-terminal. Pull down the
Terminal menu, and the first choice in the menu is "Set Title...". If
there are multiple tabbed windows, these titles appear in the tabs.
I'm still running Feisty, so my version of gnome-terminal is 2.18.0. If
they have removed this feature in version 2.20, please let me know.
