Hi Hermann,
How long did you wait before giving up downloading the room list? I'v
found that downloading a list of rooms, especially when it's big can
take some time and seems to require a lot of processor power. It looks
like the system is freezing, but i don't think it really does, because i
have successfully downloaded a room list from irc.freenode.net.
