Also, that sounds like an MDI and Gnome doesn't do that.  Not sure
what part of GIMP you refer to, unless you mean GIMPShop.

I'd say check out Paul's stuff.

no, I mean a real windows or dialogs that you can put into another
"main" window and this will be attached to the main window. Like by
GIMP !
