It also seems to fix the 'size_request' signal_chain_from_overridden()
in a subclass problem from a while back (bugzilla ticket somewhere).
I suppose the Gtk2::Requisition object is no longer copied on the way
down, so a result stored to it works.

I can't see anything much bad happening from not copying ... the
lifespan of boxed objects which are not your own already needs care.
