Colors in fontselector

Hi,
    I am experimenting with a dialog that contains both a fontselector
and a colorselector. I want to use the colorselector to change one of
the 3 [text foreground, text background and cell background] colors
in the fontselector-preview area. I have not found any inteface for
this functionality.

I need some hints on how to do this...

I am using glade-2 to do these experiments.
