If you don't _need_ a desktop, it doesn't mean you _shouldn't_ have one.

For most of my work, I don't need anything more than ex(1) and a K&R C
compiler running under UNIX Release 7 on a PDP-8 with a teletype.  So
what?  So maybe I'll splurge and run vi.  :)
