Problem translating Damned lies: using apostrophes

Hi,

We're revising the damned lies Catalan translation. We've detected an
annoying error in the page, which is caused by our (...my) unability to
translate the string properly.

In the same way that -in English- we say "a fruit" (because the word
following the article starts with a consonant) but "an
elephant" (because "elephant" starts with a vowel), in Catalan we use
apostrophes before words that start with a vowel. That is, we say "el
catal(consonant), and "l'angl (vowel).

Look at the following string:

#: ../templates/team.tmpl:12
msgid "%(team)s Page:"
msgstr "Pna del %(team)s:"

If we translate it like that, in the web site it will look like this:
-"Pna del catal(correct)
-"Pna del Angl (which is wrong! It should be "de l'angl)

If we use the apostrophe in the Catalan translation, the error will be
the other way round (e.g. "Pna de l'Catal(which is wrong)

Have you got a clue on how to solve that? I've noticed that the french
team translated it as "msgstr "Page de l'%(team)s :" (which is wrong
when the language starts with a consonant, like "frans" itself)

Is there a way to get round this? Should I fill a bug reporting this,
and see if a good soul finds a solution?

Cheers!
