I can dig into it if somebody gives me an idea where and how. As of now
nobody did. I have heard that people do not have sending delays. I am
glad to hear that. But the reason of me posting to this list is that I
have.

TLC is off. No encryption is chosen on my Account Editor|Sending Mail
panel. Server requires authentication is unchecked.

What people addressing my original post are probably missing is that I
have been working in this organization for few years. And during this
time I have been using many mail agents including old Netscape, Mozilla,
Outlook, and now Evolution. All of these were always configured with the
same SMTP server. Visible sending delay in Evolution is in striking
contrast with previous experience. I do not try to generalize to all
Evolution installations. I simply describe what I have.
