OK. I think that most of us will use the same version of gtkhtml, since
it's installed with the helix-update. I didn't know that this was the
bit that handled the message interface. 

I've only been using Linux for about 6 weeks. I previously used Windows
exclusively (and Outlook 2000) hence my interest in Evolution. So far it
has been an interesting experience ;-)

I never know the cause, just the effect!
