to compile evolution, you need bonobo-devel

Evo not compiling with this configure error:
      checking for Bonobo >= 0.17... configure: error: Bonobo newer than 0.17 is required to compile

      [root DellBook evolution-0.5.1]# 
Package is installed:
      [root DellBook helix-install]# rpm -q bonobo
      bonobo-0.18-0_helix_1
      [root DellBook helix-install]#
What do I need to do so it will find bonobo?
