Re: [Evolution] Evo 0.6 not receiving mail; "Callback failed"

You probably have unescaped regex characters one of your filters.

ie: "[Evolution", to get this to work like you expect, change it to
"\[Evolution"

I've been using Evo 0.6 (Preview 7) on RedHat 6.2, kernel 2.2.16-3. Now
I've updated to kernel 2.2.18.

Evo was working after the update; I was into it 2 or 3 times.

Now, however, when I tell it to check mail (I have 3 POP3 accounts set
up), I see errors that say:

evolution-mail-WARNING **: Callback failed for `Fetch email from
pop://mike mail brakeandgo com': Failed to perform regex search on
message body: Invalid range end
*** Message -- ERROR
*** Message -- FINISH Fetching email from pop://mike mail brakeandgo com

evolution-mail-WARNING **: Error on cleanup of `Fetch email from
pop://mike mail brakeandgo com': Failed to perform regex search on
message body: Invalid range end

Note that I see this error when I try and retrieve mail from a POP3
account that has mail waiting. When I check mail from an account that
has no mail waiting, it finishes properly; just informing me that there
is no mail.

I can, however, send mail fine.

Any thoughts? I'd do a trace, such as those I've seen on this list
before. But I don't know how to do that.
