Re: [Banshee-List] iPod Sync

And while we are talking about what is supported out of the box in
ubuntu, there are two interesting points:

1. Even the default file manager will support ipod touch/iphone out of
the box in lucid .
2. Rhythmbox will support the ubuntu one music store in lucid.

Are there any plans to add the ubuntu one music store to banshee?

A watched the UDS video where they were discussion what default apps
would be in in ubuntu 10.04 someone said what about banshee, to which
someone else said, well banshee doesn't work with ipods and that was
that they moved on.

If you look at this mailing list it appears that ipod clasic support
is still not working for everyone. I know people who have stayed on
ubuntu 9.04 because of the ipod problems.

I would hate to see Banshee lose the momentum it has achieved, but
iphone, ipod and ubuntu one music store support really give Rhythmbox
a compelling advantage.
