Hi Sandy,
yes, i have read those two texts, but as you can see in the
comments (and i
sync Music to my iPhone every day), it is actually posible to sync
music to
the iphone and to listen to it on the iphone. And libgpod can read
and write
the Database, when you set the Database Version from 4 to 2. on your
jailbroken iphone. I guess, that banshee uses libgpod too and the
only
Problem is, that the iPhone did not register in the System as iPod,
so
banshee does not know that there is one. But if there would be a
possibility
to tell banshee where the iPhone is, or where the path to the
iPhone ist, it
should work like an iPod, like Amarok actually does!

Hello everyone,
Why is there no iPhone Support in banshee? The iPhone actually IS
working
with libgpod. It is working with Amarok or gtkpod.
So, in Amarok, there is an option to add an media player manually
by
giving
the path to it (eg. /media/iPhone) and set the device to "iphone"
and
then
you can put on music to the iPhone with amarok.
Would be so nice, if banshee would be able to do that too.
