[orca-list] not displayin notifications in braille

Hello,
Is it possible to prevent orca from displaying notifications in braille?
It's very disturbing when I'm for example calculating some mathematical
example and suddenly pidgin notification pops in.
Can this be disabled somewhere? I suppose that disabling braille in
pidgin wouldn't help.
