NetworkManager repeatedly requests secrets after resume, even if network secret correct

I just wanted to highlight a problem I'm having on Fedora 9, updated to
latest packages. My network card is an Atheros one and so I am using the
Madwifi drivers from livna. My wireless network uses WPA2(AES) Personal.

When starting up NetworkManager handles my automatic connection to my
wireless network fine. After a resume however it repeatedly asks for my
secret passphrase, which I enter correctly, but after a short time
failing to connect it will ask again and again and sometimes after a
very long time it just makes wlan0 inactive.

In system-config-network unchecking allowing NetworkManager to handle
the connection so I can manually activate it by pressing the large green
button doesn't work either.

I've looked around on Buzilla, and found a very similar occurrence
except the reporter can get his connection to work by entering the
correct secret.

I would appreciate some help. Otherwise, it's really terrific to see
NetworkManager actually working for me, when I used Fedora 5 and 6 I
just couldn't get my wifi working.
