Re: [Muine] Problems with some songs

I have with some tracks a problem. Muine uses as much cpu as it could

There is one Song, which cause problems exact at 2:12 until 2:40. The
timer still runs, but no sound come out. If I play the same song with
mpg321 I have no problem.

Could somebody give some advice, how to produce a good bugreport?

This could be a problem with GStreamer -- the engine Muine uses to
play files -- in which case the best idea is to file a bug with them
[1]. As an example, I filed a bug with them [2] against a song that
didn't play correctly and they were very responsive guys.

To file a good bug report, I would say you need to provide versions of
involved libraries -- in this case probably your version of:

- muine
- gstreamer-core
- gstreamer-base
- gstreamer-good
- gstreamer-ugly

It is also very useful to put the problem track somewhere online so
that the devs can debug using it. From here the developers will ask
you for more information if they need it.

Mike.
