Re: [gnome.org #7447] GNOME Membership Application of Seif Lotfy (seif AT lotfy.com)

Hi!

Here are Seif Lotfy's contributions to GNOME:

 - fixed a lot of bugs in the Gimmie SVN
 - helped with the release of Gimmie 0.2.8
 - rewrote the pidgin plugin for Gimmie
 - wrote various web and desktop application plugins for Gimmie such as Google Docs, Evolution, YouTube,
Flickr and Facebook
 - helped improve Gimmie UI details
 - restructured Gimmie/Mayanna and developed a prototype that Federico is intending to use for his Journal
project
 - added features to the prototype such as creating documents and notes
 - got involved in discussions spawned by the GNOME UI hackfest
 - helping Federico port the Journal protoype into mono

Seif is very enthusiastic and is excited to contributed to the next generation of GNOME. Hope this helps in
making a decision about granting him membership in the GNOME Foundation.

Marina

Subject: [gnome.org #7447] GNOME Membership Application of Seif Lotfy (seif AT lotfy.com)

Dear Marina, Alex and John:

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of Seif Lotfy. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Seif Lotfy has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
