Here  it just ends with an empty screen.
BTW WS-FTP pro for example, or Total Commander's FTP, or FileZilla are
pretty okay on both servers.

Would you mind turning on the ftp loggin feature of MC and sending the log
file to the list ? You can enable logging using the following option:

 -l, --ftplog=ARG    Log ftp dialog to specified file
