Key backspace doesn't work with gtkentry on Directfb1.3/GTK2.14.7

Hi all,

   I am using gtkentry as editable control to devleop my application.
Pritable unicode chars like "[a-zA-z],[0-9] can show in gtkentry,
But I found some keyevents like backspace,delete do not work on it. 
That is, Gtkentry can receive these key events, but it can not work as
these keys should do (character is not be deleted!).  

Anyone can help me? Or good idea.

My platform is arm-based samsung 24xx.
Linux_input module of directfb 1.3 is used as keyboard driver.
