Do you intend to put your face detection code in a library? I'm sure
it could be useful outside of f-spot.

Sure, I can do that, I'll be working on the code in some time
though - my plan is to implement it in octave first, for several
reasons, ( I could probably add it to octave-forge too ;) )
and when I'm finished with polishing the algorithm I'll pass to
it's implementation in C# or C++.
Murray Cumming also indicated that it would be nice to have this
feature in a library.
