strata_ranger noted on the bug report for this 
<https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562619#c26> that there seems 
to be a 10:1 scaling in the offset. I haven't tried, but you might get 
the result you want by setting the x and y offsets to 10 times what they 
should be.
