About libgdata
==============

libgdata is a GLib-based library for accessing online service APIs
using the GData protocol — most notably, Google's services. It
provides APIs to access the common Google services, and has full
asynchronous support.

Major changes:
 • Update date parsing to handle recent changes in Google’s servers
 • Support ACLs with keys (e.g. for link-only sharing of documents)
 • Add gzip encoding support for network packet compression
 • Support for libsoup ≥ 2.47.3 (but the dependency has not been bumped)
 • Basic test suite for the Google Tasks service
 • Fix mutex warnings with new GLib versions
