I am naive in this way too. I don't understand this behaviour neither
and I am searching for any alternatives as photo management tool because
of this annoying timestamp "feature". But as there are no others doing
the job like I would like them to do it, I created a branch "correcting"
it. It is not up to date though, but I'll try to keep it up to date with
the current release.
