Maybe when you run Evolution from a terminal it'll show what had been
failing. You can also run it as:

   $ CAMEL_DEBUG=pop3 evolution

to see the communication between all the POP3 servers/your accounts and
the Evolution, which may also shed a bit of light on this.

Well, I run it as you told me.
There are two accounts from which I download duplicate emails and where emails are not deleted from the server. Only one of the two, however, downloads a disproportionate amount of emails and it takes a long time to finish, every time. Well, when it comes the turn of this account, at the end, here is the log I saw from the terminal, I do not know if you can understand where's the problem from this:

POP3_STREAM_WRITE (10):

POP3_STREAM_WRITE (10):

POP3_STREAM_LINE (17): '+OK 786523 octets'

POP3_STREAM_LINE (16): '+OK 19763 octets'
Got + response

pop3_folder_maybe_expunge_cache: Recognized 112 downloaded messages
POP3_STREAM_WRITE (6):

POP3_STREAM_LINE (16): '+OK Logging out.'
Got + response
