Don't use this option! I once used it as a workaround to get rid of an
issue, but it introduced other issues. I don't remember the issues
anymore, IIRC it's somewhere in the Evolution mailing list archive. It
can be used as a last resort, for a very short time, to temporarily work
around one or the other issue, but not to workaround all issues.

The trial-and-error principle ... Evolution can check what is supported
... and if the ISP doesn't provide enough information, then testing
different combinations most likely will end successfully.

The OP should provide more information.
