Change the folder from:

        Hi,
thunderbird?

to /home/thufir/Maildir ?

Basically, create a Maildir account in evolution and point it to the
folder where your Maildir structure resides. In steps:
a) Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts->Add
b) on the Receiving Options tab choose:
   Type: Maildir-format mail directories
   Mail Directory: /home/thufir/Maildir
c) finish the rest as you wish.
Then you'll see a new account in the folder tree, where those Maildir
messages will be shown. You can choose the thunderbird folder as well,
supposing they use Maildir format for their storage (I do not follow
thunderbird development and internals).

Also, the file name surprised me a bit, Evolution doesn't use
S=xxx,W=xxx, it might be some special case for thunderbird, same as
evolution uses ':' as a divider between file name and flags, while your
sample shows comma there. It might work, only not if two different
clients will access it.
        Bye,
        Milan
