[Evolution] Subfolders doesn't get updated automatically

Hi,

I have lots of subfolders with filters configured in Evolution.
All of a sudden, I have to visit the subfolders manually to see if
there's a new email.
Up until now, when there was new mail available, it would show me so
(folder name getting bold and telling the number of new mails).
This works only for the inbox now.

I noticed some "camel" "NULL" errors when starting evolution via
terminal. I had a look at the .evolution folder and noticed that there
were some empty folders from old configurations and after deleting them,
the errors have past.

Still the issue remains. There are no errors whatsoever in the terminal
or the logs when running Evolution.
Is there any option for this or may this be a messed-up file in the
configuration?

Any hint is welcome.

I don't think it's a bug, because I'm using the exact same version
(2.22.0) on my notebook without this issue.
