For your interest, a new xsldbg 4.8.0 release is now available on sourceforge, see

Compared to the last commonly used xsldbg release 

* add new commands such a 'list' to list active local XSLT/XML file

* bug fixes such a setting break-points on included XSLT scripts

* updated documentation

I would consider writing an extension for Eclipse to support xsldbg debugging if there was xslt@ community support for it.
