Right, good catch, but I changed it sligthly to initialize to "ns"
because xmlns:ns_1="..." looks way better than xmlns:_1="..." since
it makes the second part of the QName a name starting with a letter.
There is no risk of clash because we check for namespaces in scope
anyway.
