Thanks, Mark. Files are not exactly what I want. I'd like to obtain
a set of strings, not a set of files.
On the other hand, using tmpnam() and some memory-mapping technique,
this might work. So this would be a very good suggestion.
Wouldn't I then have to configure a memory-mapped temporary storage
space at the OS level?
Never done anything like that. Does anyone know how to do that?
And then in PHP?
Other suggestions also welcome, of course.
