[xslt] SAX.xmlSAX2Characters(): out of memory

Hi,

I build libxml2-2.6.7 and libxslt-1.1.4 on Tru64 alpha 
(alphaev67-dec-osf5.1)
and run into the following problem with xsltproc:

# xsltproc --stringparam xmlDir /xml_location/xml/ stylesheet.xsl 
sample00001_toc.xml

error : Memory allocation failed : building attribute
Unaligned access pid=29057 <xsltproc> va=0x14004bdb4 pc=0x3ff80212718 
ra=0x3ff800d68cc inst=0xa4e4fff8

sample01477.xml:2: error: SAX.xmlSAX2Characters(): out of memory

The size of the sample00001_toc.xml is
-rw-r--r--   1 <user>     <group>     196792 Apr 18  2003 
sample00001_toc.xml
This file is a table of content and contains about 3000 child elements. The 
child elements
idicates a complex xml file (ex. sample01477.xml)

Everything goes fine till the above mentioned position.

Can you help me?
