Update - the linker error seem to be a limitation within cygwin. The
library itself is created. Once I replaced libxml2.so softlink with a
hardlink to libxml2.so.11, it worked.
Okay, thanks for sending the resolution, hopefully this will help
others hitting the same problem !

Hello,
I am trying to build libxml2 for QNX/ARM, from pc/cygwin/windows 7.
#./configure --build=i686-pc-cygwin --host=arm-unknown-nto-qnx6.5.0
--disable-silent-rules
# make
It does not create the shared library, while the static library is created.
But 'xmllint' linker seem to refer the libxml2.so.11, which is not built.
Any inputs would be much appreciated.

Sree
