  I suggest you fetch git head version where I applied a patch for 
  https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=665526

which makes libxml2 use the native threads by default on Win32 platform.
check. The latest libxml2-git-snapshot.tar.gz found on the ftp was done
8 hours ago so may not have the change but the next snapshot should have
that.
