  First, it's not specific to libxml2, it's a general XML design question.
  Second, in general you can't. Now you can uuencode the data, but putting
uuencoded string in attributes is a completely broken design.
I guess you don't find informations because it's something to avoid.
  Third, no need to post things twice.
