With the current CVS head I get the following with xmllint:

$ xmllint --noout --schema ORM_O01.xsd 46\(tabla\).xml
46(tabla).xml validates

Could you try with the current CVS? I recall Daniel worked on
the regexp module between the 2.6.22 release and the current CVS head,
thus the bug you encountered might be already fixed.
